The list of Xbox One Backwards Compatibility titles has been updated by Microsoft as 10 new Xbox 360 titles have been added to that list. With the addition of these 10 games, the library now contains a total of 130 Xbox 360 titles that are playable on the Xbox One.
The new list features some critically acclaimed titles that were on Xbox 360 including Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Sam & Max Save the World, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings along with many more. You can have a look at the full list below.
New Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Titles:
- Aegis Wing
- Age of Booty
- Counter-Strike Global Offensive
- Jeremy McGrath’s Offroad
- Sam & Max Save the World
- Small Arms
- Soul Calibur
- Space Giraffe
- The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings
Along with the release of these titles, Microsoft has also announced that The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings will be available to download for free on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One. But do keep in mind that it will be free until February 5th, so be sure to grab it while you have the chance.
Xbox One Backwards Compatibility was first announced back in June 2015 and was later released after four months, on November 12, 2015. This feature allows players to play their favorite Xbox 360 titles on the Xbox One. Some known games that will be added to the Backwards Compatibility library in the future are Halo Wars, Call of Duty: Black Ops, BioShock, BioShock 2, BioShock Infinite and Skate 3.
