Creative Assembly have just announced that the latest installment in their sci-fi horror Alien franchise will be launched on 7th October. The game, published by Sega, will be called Alien: Isolation and it was officially confirmed at today’s EGX Rizzard held in England.
Alien: Isolation sets a scene 15 years after the events of Alien. The story would revolve around Amanda, Ellen Ripley’s daughter, who arrives in Sevastopol to recover the missing blackbox of the Nostromo. During your journey, you would be haunted by a xenomorph which has caused panic among your team. It will not be your typical horror game in which you are given a gun and you have to fight your way through all your foes rather you would have to use your wits and all your resources wisely if you want to survive.
Speaking at the event, Alistair Hope, the Creative Lead Director at Creative Assembly said
“We couldn’t be happier to finally announce a date for Alien: Isolation.
The reaction we have seen so far has been simply incredible, from the screams and shrieks to the cold sweats and racing hearts. It’s the Alien game that we’ve always wanted to play and we can’t wait to let everyone get their hands on it this fall.”
The game is scheduled to be released on Xbox One, Xbox 360, Ps4, PS3 and PC on the above mentioned date.
