After years of being PC exclusive titles, Frictional Games is finally bringing its highly popular survival horror series to the PlayStation 4 with the release of Amnesia: Collection. The new release trailer for the game can be seen below.
The games included in the bundle are Amnesia: The Dark Descent, Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs and the lesser known Amnesia: Justine. These titles are not for the faint of heart and are even considered to be some of the most frightening games to ever be released.
The trailer, seen above, showcases some of the gameplay seen in the games all the while providing minor narrative hints about the story. We also get to see brief glimpses of the enemies such as the horrendous Manpigs.
Part of what makes these games so terrifying is that they do not have a combat feature, aside from throwing items, so if the player is spotted, they must flee and try to find hiding places. As someone who briefly played Amnesia: The Dark Descent, I can assure you that not being able to fight back is a terrifying feeling in itself.
Almost six years after the release of the first game on PC, Amnesia: Collection is available now for the PlayStation 4.
