Ubisoft has released a brand new trailer for Assassin’s Creed Origins for the PS4. This trailer shows the birth of the Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood and teases some of the story that is expected from the game.
Assassin’s Creed Origins is set in Ancient Egypt and features some historical figures like Cleopatra. It is set to release o October 27th for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game is notable for featuring improvements for the Xbox One X with support for dynamic 4K resolution. It will also support the PS4 Pro with improved visuals just like the Xbox One X although the extent of changes between both versions hasn’t been confirmed yet.
Assassin’s Creed Origins is the first game in the series to release after 2 years since the transition to yearly release. The game was pushed further back after the backlash to Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and subsequently Assassin’s Creed Unity.
Assassin’s Creed Origins is being directed by Ashraf Ismail who was also behind the critically acclaimed Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. The game features a massive open world and attempts to put a new spin in the Assassin’s Creed formula. It will support improved visuals for both the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X while the PC version is also confirmed to get 4K support among other enhancements.
