Assassin’s Creed Rogue HD Listed For PS4 and Xbox One On Multiple Online Retailers

Assassin’s Creed Rogue is potentially getting an HD remaster for the PS4 and Xbox One if we look at the listing by these multiple Italian online retailers. Assassin’s Creed Rogue is one of the only game that was released during the current generation consoles but missed a release on them completely. It was developed with previous generation consoles in mind and launched at the same time as Assassin’s Creed Unity. The game was later ported to the PC leaving the door open for a release down the line on PS4 and Xbox One.

Assassin’s Creed Rogue might be finally hitting the PS4 and Xbox One as it has been listed by 3 different Italian retailers (via). The game is simply listed as Assassin’s Creed Rogue HD with a budget price.

Assassin’s Creed Rogue was a more of a sequel to Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. It featured a completely different protagonist and the same ship-based gameplay from Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. The game is playable on Xbox One through Backwards Compatibility. When we asked Ubisoft about a potential 4K update for Rogue to run on Xbox One X, they told us that they currently had no plans for it.
