Assassin’s Creed Syndicate Patch 1.50 vs. 1.51 Comparison Shows Improved Visuals On PS4 Pro

Ubisoft has released a brand new update for Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate today that fixes the messed up PS4 Pro support for the game, improving the visuals in this process.

While Assassin’s Creed Syndicate has already received an update that adds PS4 Pro support, it was broken with a checkerboard upscaling method that blurred the image quality instead of improving it.

Ubisoft appears to have listened to the complaints made by fans and have released another brand new update today that improves the support for the game on the PS4 Pro, as evident by the patch notes.

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate v1.51
-Improved 4K Support on PlayStation 4 Pro
-Improved Stability

You can see a comparison between the game on the original PS4 and after applying update 1.50 and 1.51.

The visuals appear to have been retouched and now the game looks like a properly improved 4K support game for the PS4 Pro. More screenshots were shared by NeoGAF user black070.

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate was released back in 2015 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game surprisingly received a PS4 Pro patch a few months ago but it was met with some criticism because of how it downgraded the visuals. This appears to have been rectified for now.
