Bandai Namco Collaborating With Aardman Studios For 11-11 Memories Retold

Bandai Namco has announced a brand new narrative-driven story adventure that they are currently developing in collaboration with the Aardman Studios, who are known for their work on Wallace and Gromit and Shaun the Sheep animated shows.

There are not many details revealed for this new project save for a short teaser trailer. The game is reportedly set during World War 1 period and the game will be a ‘story-driven narrative adventure set during World War I with a unique painted style that plans to deliver an entertaining experience unlike anything before.’

David Sproxton, Co-Founder of Aardman Studios had the following to say regarding this unique partnership with Bandai Namco.

“Engaging audiences with compelling stories through animation is at the heart of what we do at Aardman. With this project we want to produce an emotionally rich experience with a distinctive visual identity that reflects the sentiment of this narrative. 11-11: Memories Retold is truly an exciting step for us as it marks the first time that Aardman has collaborated on a game of this scale and we’re delighted to see this come to life.”

Currently there is no release window given for the game but expect to hear more about it at the upcoming E3 or other major gaming events. It does sound like a unique emotionally engaging experience so hopefully it can turn out to be something decent.
