Battlefield V Confirmed To Get Battle Royale Mode

EA has confirmed at their EA Play conference that Battlefield V will get a Battle Royale mode. They didn’t really share any major details on this mode but promised more details soon.

Battlefield V is set to launch later this year. It will feature no loot boxes or premium pass, making it the first time for the series to release without one. Free updates are planned for the game as a form of post-launch support that will also include new maps.

Battlefield V will offer more customization for the player. It also has a story mode that will make its debut at the upcoming Microsoft conference. The multiplayer features more destruction this time. Tanks can crash through buildings so players will have to keep an eye out for them as well.

Battlefield V is confirmed to launch for the PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 19. It is currently being developed by EA DICE using their Frostbite engine.
