Bethesda’s Pete Hines Comments On Leaked Fallout 4 Spoilers, Asks Fans To “Hang In There”

Fallout 4 spoilers are out in the wild. The game had a broken street date and it has resulted in almost the entire game including its ending leaking online ahead of the official launch. Bethesda’s VP of marketing, Pete Hines took it to twitter to comment on the leaked spoilers for Fallout 4 and he assured the fans that they shouldn’t worry about them as the game is too big, and there is a lot of stuff to do in it.

“I’m sorry some of you have seen spoilers. I assure you part of a story does not take away from the real story you will play and tell: yours,” said Pete Hines in a series of tweets on twitter.

“This game is too big, there’s too much, and so many ways to play and things to see. I think you’re gonna have a great time. Hang in there.”

“These people trying to get attn [attention] or ruin something for you can’t take away your experience of making it your own. No matter how hard they try.”

Fallout 4 spoilers are spreading like wild fire across the internet. The ending was apparently leaked ahead of the launch and trolls are using it to spoil the game for others. We recommend staying away from message boards and comments section of major website in order to avoid getting spoiled.

Fallout 4 will be out on November 10th for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

You know.. I’ve finished the game, and just out of interest I was wondering what the other endings were..

And after I’ve read them, I cant be sure if I am simply amazing at problem solving or people are trolling, because the whole ***Watch it, I am going to say something potentially spoiling***

“Kill your son or nuke Boston” thing didnt happen to me.. He simply asked me to wipe out the Brotherhood and Railroad. I didnt even have a chance to nuke anything.

To all the fuckhats doing this, nice try. We really don’t give a shit. Most people knew the ending of Skyrim fairly early on, and it was a normalcy to talk about it. Obviously there’s a huge difference since Review Copies weren’t prevalent then, and people got to play through to the end and experience it for themselves. But it was more or less obvious that you save the world by defeating the dragons and you can choose between the Imperials and the Stormcloaks in the Civil War. This was known. Was it a bit of a spoiler? Perhaps. As big of a spoiler as this one? Not nearly. But think of it this way: You come into your house, apartment, whatever, turn on the TV and the end of a movie you’ve been dying to see is playing. You forever see what the ending is without having even seen the rest of the movie. It’s somewhat rational to be angry or feel cheated, but are you really being cheated by seeing a fraction of the game? If that’s the case, perhaps we no longer need E3 and gameplay reveals since those spoil the mystery of wondering what the game is. This said, I have not seen the video, nor do I want to, but I have seen the plethora of spam in YouTube comments linking to it and instead of it just being a link, you literally see a written description of what the ending is. I felt a little annoyed by this but I did not feel like the whole game was ruined and my purchase was for nothing. Like Pete Hines said, this is way too big of a game already to be shit-fitting over some assholes out there that are bound to exist. Instead, write your own story and accept your fate.

Would have been even better if the first comment down here was Khurram spoiling the entire game.

Where is a link to the ending spoiler because I’d love to know what happens.

You find out that your son is really Mr Potatohead and he’s plotting to bring back Twinkies and enslave cows for making sour cream and you can either eat him or blow up the secret Twinkies factory. Spoiled.

That would be an interesting dlc for someone to make into the game but I’m talking about the main story ending, people say it was leaked but I can’t find it.
