Bloodborne: The Old Hunters is the upcoming major expansion from for the PS4 exclusive, and sounds like it is going to be the last one.
In an interview to Eurogamer, Sony Japan’s producer for Bloodborne, Masaaki Yamagiwa revealed that they don’t have any plans to make any more DLC for Bloodborne. He also revealed that this expansion combines two different DLC packs for the game.
“We were originally planning on doing two sets of DLC, it was decided that with one set, we’d be able to do more with it, and have more volume for players to play with. As of right now, we have no plans for any more DLC.”
“At least in Japan, the plan was to release the DLC in November,” said Yamagiwa. “I should mention, though, we finished making the game and then moved into production on the DLC. It took that long, but that’s because of the sheer amount of volume. We’re sorry it took so long! But it’s as fast as was possible considering what’s in it.”
Eurogamer also reveals the amount of new weapons and areas that are expected in this expansion. According to Eurogamer, players can expect atleast 10 new weapons and 3 new areas for this expansion. Eurogamer estimates that it can take the players close to 8 hours to finish this expansion, depending on their pace.
Bloodborne: The Old Hunters expansion is currently set for a release on November 24th, and it will priced $19.99/£11.99.
