Microsoft has announced a brand new free-to-play Halo game for the PC. This game is being developed by Saber Interactive, who have previously worked on the Halo Anniversary and Halo 2: Anniversary Remaster for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. It is scheduled for a closed beta test in Russia soon.
As of right now, Microsoft has announced no plans for the game to come to other regions. You can check out a tease of this game in the off-screen screenshot below.
Right now, we don’t have much details about the game but we do know that it will feature from 4 up to 16 players in multiplayer matches. The game’s graphics will be on-par with Halo 4 based on the Halo 3 engine. There is no confirmation about a story mode and it is probably intended as a free-to-play PVP Halo game.
In term of multiplayer, Team Slayer and Assassination modes were confirmed. 343 Industries presented the game themselves and the developers are Saber Interactive. Microsoft is co-distributing the game in Russia and the game will also feature a location in a Russian City.
