Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare PS4 vs. XBO MP & SP Image Comparison: PS4 Wins With Better IQ In MP

Call of Duty: Advanced is without a doubt the biggest game of the year on the current generation. It is also being released on the PS3, Xbox One and PC. This will be the first game in the series that will utilize a brand new engine specifically designed for current generation and PC focused development. The game’s main developer is Sledgehammer Games while it was developed for the previous generation by High Moon Studios.

If you are one of the folks who have both of the current generation consoles, you can check out the image comparison between both versions below to determine which one best suits your needs.

Image quality wise, the Xbox One version runs at a minimum native resolution of 1360×1080 compared to native 1080p on the PlayStation 4. The thing to note here is that Xbox One employs a dynamic resolution for Single Player campaign and a locked 1360×1080 resolution in Multiplayer, giving the PS4 a distinct advantage for Multiplayer, as it runs at native 1080p on PS4. Hence we have compared both SP and MP for the game.

First up is the single player comparison, which also highlights the crushed blacks on the Xbox One. (Source for XBO shots)
