Call of Duty Championship 2014 announced, will feature COD Ghosts

Activision and Infinty Ward have finally announced the 2014 edition of the yearly Call of Duty Championship. Like yesteryear the 2014 Call of Duty Championship will be presented by Xbox and will have $1 million of prize money on the line. The tournament will run from March 28th to the 30th.

This year teams will be competing in Call of Duty Ghosts which is featured FPS game of the MLG circuit in the 2014 season. In the 2014 Call of Duty Championship 32 of the world’s best teams, hailing from 6 continents and 15 countries will be competing for the massive prize pool.


The qualifiers called The Road to Call of Duty Championship will be broadcasted live on Xbox Live and MLG.TV. The regional final timings are as follows:

Australia / New Zealand – Sydney 28th February, 1st March, 2nd March

Europe – London, 28th February, 1st March, 2nd March

USA – New York, 7th – 9th March

Championship – Los Angeles, 27th – 29th March

    PS4 version does 1080p/60fps and performs very well – I have it on PS4 and am third prestige on multiplayer, and have experienced no framerate issues from many hours and hours of gaming.
