Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Will Tell Its Story In A Completely Different Way Than Past Games

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has been confirmed to launch on October 12. It is also the first game in the series that lacks a traditional story mode however there might still be some narrative to tie the story in the game.

Recently, the developers of Call of Duty were answering questions of the fans clarifying some of the question surrounding the story mode in the game.

In Black Ops 4, we’re incorporating narrative gameplay experiences directly into MP and giving players the ability to learn and master each of the Specialists through solo missions that give hands-on intros to each Specialist, while exploring the stories behind their identities.

Black Ops 4 is telling stories differently than in past games, incorporating narrative gameplay experiences directly into Multiplayer, and introducing a new Zombies universe.

Black Ops 4 builds narrative into the MP. We’re giving players the ability to learn and master each of the Specialists through solo missions, fast-paced trials that give hands-on intros to each Specialist, while exploring the stories behind their identities.

In addition to the lack of a traditional story mode, it was confirmed that the game will now launch with three new Zombies experience and a Battle Royale mode called Blackout. This will feature one of the largest multiplayer map in Call of Duty history.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be out on October 12 for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
