CD Project Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 Shows Sign Of Life With First Official Tweet After 3+ Years

Cyberpunk 2077 was originally revealed all the way back in 2013 and before the release of The Witcher 3, however the game never saw any update aside from rumblings about its development team. Recently, the official Cyberpunk Twitter account has made its first tweet after a period of over 3 years. The tweet simply said: *beep* which is as ambigious as it can get, but points towards potentially more information being shared for the project soon.

The last update that we had on Cyberpunk confirmed that the game is now in ‘advanced development stage’ with a total of 300 people working on it. The development team of Cyberpunk is bigger than The Witcher 3 so it can end up being far more ambitious them the previous efforts by CD Project Red.

There hasn’t been any major information shared regarding the scope of the game, or its gameplay and story. The teaser trailer offered a glimpse in the world that is conceptualized for the game, but that was the gist of it. There is a lot of excitement for the project mainly due to the fact that it is being released after The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which received universal critical acclaim, breaking the record of the most Game of the Year awards win for The Last of Us.
