The Last of Us Remastered has received its first official gameplay screens which you can see below. The game has already been shown in several videos but most of the footage that was shown was from the cutscenes, which were pre-rendered. If you were wondering how the game might look like in gameplay, you can check out these official screenshots shared below, which give us a glimpse of the graphical upgrade that we can expect on the PS4.
These screens definitely show a graphical upgrade that is fully expected from the jump to a better hardware. Naughty Dog has clearly shared these screens with the purpose of highlighting the updated features. We can see the updated shadows, improved lighting, textures and higher quality character models. It has also been confirmed that the game will be getting a Day 1 patch which will add a photo mode to the game. So you can expect to take similar quality screenshots directly from the PlayStation 4.
The Last of Us Remastered is set to release exclusively on the PlayStation 4 on July 29th.
