New gameplay footage for Rise of the Tomb Raider has emerged from Gamescom. The demo shows Lara Croft traveling across the Syrian desert, as her vehicle is ambushed by a helicopter, resulting in it getting crashed. Lara manages to escape and is then seen climbing up some cliffs before reaching a cave.
The gameplay demo can be seen below.
This particular gameplay demo focuses on exploration and platforming, as Lara uses her torch to make her way across the dark depths of multiple caverns. She finds herself inside a passage filled with corpses, where the battle between armed soldiers and religious pilgrims once took place.
Brief glimpses of some of the puzzles Lara will encounter during her journey across tombs can also be seen towards the end of the footage. She gets attacked by a number of armed soldiers and subsequently is shown fighting her way back out into broad daylight.
Rise of the Tomb Raider is scheduled to arrive on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 on November 10. A PC version will follow in Spring 2016, with a PS4 version slated for Fall 2016. Let us know what you thought of this gameplay demo in the comments below
