At the PlayStation Experience 2016, fans saw something that they have been waiting for years. Naughty Dog unveiled the Crash Bandicoot: N.Sane Trilogy, which will include the first three games that Crash starred in.
The Crash Bandicoot: N.Sane Trilogy includes Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back and Crash Bandicoot: Warped. Now fans will be able to relive their childhood in glorious HD quality. Naughty Dog has remastered the game to bring back the nostalgic feeling, while upgrading the graphics dramatically. Take a look at the Comeback trailer below:
Naughty Dog has rebuilt the games with the original characters and cinematics in mind. As you can clearly see in the trailer above, Activision compared the remastered versions of the game to the original versions. There is a drastic difference in both the games. The textures in Crash Bandicoot: N.Sane Trilogy are a lot smoother, and the lighting has been improved. The original Crash Bandicoot games are slightly pixelated, while the remastered version is greatly improved compared to the 20 year old title.
Naughty Dog had the freedom to add some new features to Crash Bandicoot: N.Sane Trilogy. The first Crash Bandicoot game did not have a proper manual or a save game system. That has been changed as players can now freely save their progress in the game. Time Trails have also been added to all three of the games.
Naughty Dog did not announce a release date for Crash Bandicoot: N.Sane Trilogy, however, we can expect a 2017 release for the trilogy.
