Crash Bandicoot Trilogy Announced, Features PS1 Games Remade For PS4

Sony announced Crash Bandicoot trilogy for the PS4 at their E3 2016 conference. This trilogy contains the original 3 Crash games but the caveat is that it looks like another HD remake, as described by Shawn Layden, President of Sony Worldwide Studios.

This trilogy will feature Crash 1, Crash 2 and Crash 3 from the PS1 that have been rebuilt from the ground up for the PS4. Along with the announcement of Crash, Layden also revealed Crash Bandicoot coming to Skylanders as a collectible character.

Crash Bandicoot has been requested by fans and it was also teased by Shawn Layden at Sony’s E3 2015 and PSX conference, sadly there doesn’t appear to be a new game here, just a remake of the original trilogy.

“Sadly there doesn’t appear to be a new game here, just a remake of the original trilogy” Sadly? SADLY? I’m OVERJOYED that they’re not bringing out a new piece of garbage that’s far removed from the franchise but wears Crash Bandicoots face like a skin mask. Crash of the titans? Mind over mutant? Turds. I don’t hold much hope for these remakes either but at least the originals were good games.

I was gonna say say the same thing. A remaster is better than any new story they can formulate.
