Days Gone Will Have No Load Times In Seamless Open World With Accessible Interiors

Days Gone is Sony Bend’s upcoming project for the PS4. It is an open world survival horror game that has been confirmed to launch on February 22, 2019.

Recently at the Sony’s E3 2018 panel, Sony Bend’s developers were on stage to talk about the game. They confirmed that the game will have no load times and the world is seamless. All the buildings interiors are accessible so you can explore each location in full detail.

When asked about the narrative choice offered in the game, they clarified that there will be some key sequences in the game when you will be given the choice to make a decision and depending on what you pick, the characters will be affected by them. They pointed towards an earlier video that they shared of the game where the lead hero Deacon had to make a choice on deciding the fate of a character and depending on what he picked, the moral of his friend could be affected.

The players will face a whole variety of different threats in the game ranging from the freakers that act like zombies to cults like the rippers. There are infected animals as well and you will have to keep a watch out for them in order to survive in this harsh post-apocalyptic world.

Days Gone will be out on February 22nd, 2019 exclusively for the PS4. It is being developed by Sony Bend Studio and will be published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.
