Days Gone Will Release In February 2019

Days Gone is an upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive from Sony Bend Studio. It is an open world survival horror game featuring a story that focuses on a biker gang. It is basically Sons of Anarchy meet The Walking Dead in layman’s terms.

Days Gone was confirmed to release in early 2019 and now Sony Interactive Entertainment has shared the release date ahead of the E3 2018 press conference later this weekend. They have also shared a brand new story trailer that focuses on new types of enemies.

Days Gone was originally announced at E3 2016. It is the first major project for the PlayStation 4 from Sony Bend Studio. They have previously worked on the Syphon Filter series and more recently developed Uncharted: Golden Abyss for the PS Vita.

Days Gone seems to be following the trend of Sony doubling down on their first party output this generation. So far they have released a set of critically acclaimed first party exclusives with Uncharted 4, The Lost Legacy, Horizon Zero Dawn, God of War and had some great result with Detroit: Become Human, The Last Guardian and inFamous: Second Son. Days Gone will join the ranks of PlayStation 4 first party exclusives with the upcoming The Last of Us Part 2, Ghosts of Tsushima, Death Stranding and Dreams.
