Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 is currently announced for Japan only and it was pretty clear that the developers have no intention to announce a localization for the West. However, the Asian version of the game will apparently contain English localization for those who are looking to import the game.
Retailer PlayAsia has revealed the English localization info on their pre-order for Dead or Alive Xtreme 3. They have confirmed that the game will have English language option although the Voices will still be in Japanese.
Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 will be releasing with subtitles in multiple languages (Chinese, English, Japanese) for the Asia region, without additional censorship. Voices will remain in Japanese. Multi-language options are available for the PS4 and PS Vita, as well as Collector’s Editions.
They also stress that this will be the definitive “uncensored” version of the game with English language option, even if the game is announced for the West, as there is a high chance that it can be censored.
Finally, Dead Or Alive Xtreme 3 is currently a Japanese/Asian Region exclusive, although if a Western release happens, according to Koei Tecmo, it will be an “adjusted” version. What this actually means though, is highly based on the assumption of censorship; in the meantime, these versions are the only sure bet for the original xtreme experience.
Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 will be out on Feb, 2016 for the Vita and PS4.
