Destiny 2 Guide: How To Activate Heroic Public Events

Destiny 2

Destiny 2 is out today for the PS4 and Xbox One. The game contains a tougher version of the Heroic Public Events for use in the game that offer better rewards compared to the standard events.

The following guide covers all the heroic public events in Destiny 2 and how to activate them in the game.

How To Activate Heroic Public Events In Destiny 2

Fallen Glimmer Event – To activate this heroic public event, you will have to destroy the 3 glimmer nodes. The trick to identifying these glimmer nodes is to see if there are any damage numbers when shooting them.

Fallen Ether Event – This event requires you to destroy all small Servitors that you can see assisting the big Servitor.

Spider Tank Event – This will require you to use a Titan and disable the 3 forcefields with your arc charges. Each forcefield will require 2 arc charges in order to disable them.

Witches Ritual Event – This requires you to destiny the 2 shielded crystals. You can do this by standing on the Hex Circles.

Vex Construction Event – Activate all of the 3 Vex Plates by standing on them until they are 100% completed.

Cabal Extraction – This requires you to destroy the Cabal Thresher ship which is patrolling the area.

Taken Event – You will notice a main blight along with several small dome blights during this event. If you step into the smaller blights, you will be able to damage the main blight which is otherwise immune to your attacks. Once you deal enough damage, a new boss called ‘Blighmaker’ will spawn for this event.

Destiny 2 is out today for the PS4 and Xbox One. There are some reports of the game crashing on the PS4 or PS4 Pro while Bungie are working on a fix for it. You can also check out Destiny Item Manager in the meanwhile which lets you organize your inventory easily.
