Destiny 2 PC Version Is ‘Coming Soon’, No Release Date Set Yet

Destiny 2 has been officially revealed with the full gameplay details and features by Bungie. Activision Blizzard is also published the game on PC however if you were hoping for a Steam version, then you should know that the game is exclusive to Activision Blizzard’s Battle.Net on PC, which also hosts the extremely popular Overwatch.

Geoff Keighley is attending the Destiny 2 reveal event and he had an interesting update on the PC version of the game. While the PC version will have its own exclusive features including uncapped frame rate and 4K resolution support, it is being stated as ‘coming soon’ instead of confirmed for September 8th. This was revealed in a tweet by Geoff Keighley.

These tweets confirm that while the PC version will get special attention from the developer Bungie, it is not confirmed to launch alongside the console version, which will be released on September 8th. There is no release date or information shared about the PC verison but you can find out more details about PC including potential specs for it from here.

Destiny 2 will launch on PS4 and Xbox One on September 8th while the PC version is also confirmed for it. More details about the PC version will be revealed in a future event.
