Official Destiny Twitter Account Announces Xbox One Beta, Deletes Tweet Moments Later

Bungie officially announced that the Xbox One Beta for Destiny will be coming out in July. The announcement was made on twitter but this isn’t something we didn’t already know because recently Activision announced that the Beta will be available from July, during their latest financial conference call.

But for some reason, the tweet was deleted moments later without any explanation. The tweet was retweeted by several Xbox executives and other Microsoft official accounts. Luckily some people took a screenshot of the tweet before it got deleted. You can view the tweet in the image below:

So far, we do not know the real reason behind the tweet’s removal but there are a few reasons that might be why the tweet was deleted. Maybe Bungie weren’t ready to release the Beta and they miscalculated the time it would take to get ready, and now they are waiting to announce a new date for the Beta’s release. We already know that the PlayStation Beta will be coming out a few days before the Xbox Beta so this means that the PlayStation Beta might be delayed as well.

We can expect Bungie or Activision to announce the official release date for the Destiny Beta at E3 which is just around the corner.

Destiny comes out on the 9th of September, 2014 and it will be available on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
