Detroit: Become Human PS4 vs. PS4 Pro Comparison Shows Better FPS On Pro

Detroit: Become Human demo is available to download now on the PS4. It is a free demo that contains a short section from the game, mainly the demo revolves around a rooftop negotiation that was also shown with the initial game reveal at E3.

If you haven’t managed to download the demo yet, it is available to play from the official PlayStation Store and requires just 2.3 GB of data to be downloaded for the demo. The full game will launch on May 25th while the developers have confirmed that the development has reached the gold milestone.

YouTube channel VGTech has conducted a frame rate and visuals comparison for Detroit: Become Human which you can view below. It shows that the PS4 Pro versions hold a steady 30 FPS compared to the regular PS4, which can drop frame rate at times. The drop is not exactly as severe but it can result in the frame time spiking a little introducing the appearing of a stutter.

The Detroit: Become Human demo on Playstation 4 renders at a native resolution of 1920×1080. The Detroit: Become Human demo on Playstation 4 Pro renders at a resolution of 3840×2160 using a form of checkerboard rendering and this is downsampled when outputting at 1080p.

Detroit: Become Human will launch on May 25th exclusively for the PS4. It was developed by Quantic Dreams and will be published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.
