Devil May Cry 5 And Resident Evil 2 Remake Domain Shifted To Dedicated Capcom Servers

Capcom is expected to make a big splash at this year’s E3 with the announcement of two of their most anticipated games. Devil May Cry 5 has been rumored for a while now. There is even a highly detailed leak surrounding the game’s development, story, characters and reveal. As for Resident Evil 2, Capcom had announced the Remake for their beloved PS1 classic back in 2015 and it has never been seen in any other form since then.

While the domain for Devil May Cry 5 was registered recently, it has now been moved to a dedicated Capcom server. The same is the case for the Resident Evil 2 domain which was updated recently. It is possible that the domain registration and update coincide with the announcement of both Resident Evil 2 Remake and Devil May Cry 5 at the upcoming E3 2018.

Capcom just released Monster Hunter World early this year which has ended up being their fastest selling game ever and it is currently on pace to pass the lifetime sales of Resident Evil 5 and 6. They also had great success with Resident Evil 7 and have announced Mega Man 11, set to launch later this October. They are in a much better shape now than they were at the start of this generation. They don’t really have much announced for the future so expect to hear more about their upcoming lineup at E3 2018.
