The Division E3 trailer shows off New York

The Division makes its appearance with a new trailer at Xbox E3 conference. After multiple delays, we have learned that an exclusive Xbox beta will be playable in December, according to the publisher during the conference. Check out the trailer below.

There’s nothing new in terms of gameplay or features but the trailer gives us a good look into a post-apocalyptic New York. Given the MMO nature of the game, we also get a minor glimpse into clan-based gameplay and the narration gives us some back story and some end-goals that players will seek to achieve when they play the game next year. Maybe it’s just us but the trailer shows a visual downgrade when compared to previous footage.

In addition, Rainbow Six Vegas 1 and 2 were also announced for Xbox One backwards compatibility. The best part? You will receive both Rainbow Six Vegas titles for free with purchase of The Division. We still don’t have a solid release date for The Division but our optimistic guess is Q1 2016.

Stay tuned for more information on The Division and let us know what you think of the trailer in the comments below.

Downgrade as expected, looking forward to a different style of play. Looking for this to be in the running for game of the year.
