Doom Gets Its Gameplay Debut, Multiplayer And More Details At Bethesda E3 Conference

Bethesda Softworks debuted the first gameplay trailer of the upcoming Doom for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One at their E3 Conference today.

The new Doom is being run on ID Tech 6 and has fast guns with a fast moving action, as introduced by Bethesda’s Marty Stratton. The gameplay trailer rshowed a variety of guns including a Shotgun, Heavy Assault Rifle and a Plasma Gun. It also had some brutal melee moves and finishers with a lot of focus on violence and gore. The gameplay trailer also showed some brutal slicing with a chainsaw that players picks up during the gameplay demo.

In addition to showing the debut gameplay, Bethesda also revealed the multiplayer of the game. Doom will have a fast-paced arena style multiplayer which will also allow the players to play as some of the enemies.

Marty also revealed that players will be able to create their own multiplayer maps with Doom SnapMap. It also allows the players to edit in-game logic. This allows for unlimited possibilities and funs. The map editor will be available on all platforms including PS4 and Xbox One.

Doom is set to release on the PS4, Xbox One and PC in Spring 2016.
