Dragon Ball FighterZ Beta Extended, Now Ends On January 18th

Bandai Namco Games has extended the open beta for the upcoming Dragon Ball FighterZ. The open beta is currently available on all platforms including the PC, PS4 and Xbox One while the full game is set to launch on January 26th.

In an official tweet, the developers confirmed the new open beta timing which has been extended due to the server issues that the players faced when it launched early this week.

Greetings DRAGON BALL FighterZ, As promised, we are back with info on an additional open beta test with improvements to the experience. Open Beta Starts Jan 17, 2018 at 9:00pm PST and ends Jan 18, 2018 at 9:00pm PST (24hrs) We look forward to seeing you online once again!

Dragon Ball FighterZ is the latest fighter from Arc System Works who are known for their work on the Guilty Gear Series. The game will launch worldwide on January 26th for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. It received an open beta on January 14th which has been extended to January 18th after the server issues and matchmaking troubles that the players reported for it.

If you are interested in checking out the open beta, you can download it now through the PlayStation Store, Xbox Live Store or by going to Steam and getting it from there. The open beta is just a little under 3 GB in size and comes with 8 characters playable from the get go.
