Dragon Ball FighterZ Season Pass Details and Release Date Leaked

Dragon Ball FigherZ is an upcoming fighting game from Arc System Works, the developers of the Guilty Gear series. This is an animated fighter taking the popular characters from the Dragon Ball universe so naturally there is a lot of hype behind it. The game attempts to recapture the art style and visuals of the animated TV show and manages to come closer to it thanks in part to the excellent game engine by Arc System Works.

Recently, Xbox Live Store listed an Ultimate Edition of the game that is also available for pre-order on the store. Among some of the listed features for the Ultimate Edition was a slight description of the Season Pass that will be a part of it and what to expect from as post-launch DLC for the game.

Pre-order and receive early access to the Open Beta, early character unlocks to SSGSS Goku and SSGSS Vegeta, 2 exclusive lobby avatars, and 3 stamps. Schedule for the Early Access to the Open Beta will be provided at a later date.

The Ultimate Edition includes:

  • The game
  • FighterZ Pass (8 new characters)
  • Anime Music Pack (11 songs from the Anime)
  • Commentator Voice Pack

The price of the Ultimate Edition is listed as $109.99 on the Xbox Live Store so this is definitely for the dedicated fans who are willing to spend a little more for the extra fighters and other bonus.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is currently confirmed for a release in Japan but there is no Western date set yet aside from early 2018. The Xbox Live Store again lists the game as releasing on January 26th although this hasn’t been confirmed as of yet.
