One of the fastest growing videos game, DreadOut is an Indonesian survival horror video game developed by Digital Happiness for Microsoft Windows, OS X and Linux. The core gameplay involves fighting ghosts by using a camera to take their pictures, similar to the Fatal Frame series. The game has been approved by the Steam to be released on the Steam platform. The developers of the game are quite new so their project was funded by the fans on sites like Kickstarter and Indiegogo and the famous YouTuber PewDiePie also donated money for the project.
The developers of DreadOut, Digital Happiness have announced that they are working on a second act for the game which will be available as a free update for everyone who purchases DreadOut for the PC via Steam. The free-roam game mode allows players to explore the area and get rid of the ghosts with your trusty camera phone. The free-roam game mode will features ghosts which are not a part of the main story mode and this game mode will be a part of a DLC which will cost a little bit of money but the price of the DLC is unknown.
