The long awaited(and delayed) PlayStation 4 launch title DriveClub release date has officially been revealed in its latest trailer. The game will be out for PlayStation 4 on October 7th in US and October 8th in EU.
SCE Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida confirmed this new release date on the official PlayStation Blog. Along with the announcement, Sony also released a brand new trailer for the game, as can be seen below.
It was also confirmed that Paul Rustchynsky is the new director of DriveClub. Talking about this new director, Yoshida expressed confidence in his ability to handle this project. “His experience when it comes to delivering racing games is impeccable,” said Yoshida.
Yoshida continued, “With Rushy in the lead, we know DRIVECLUB will deliver on its initial promise to be a truly next gen racing title for our PS4 portfolio. We are really proud of the incredible work the team has produced — their tenacity and passionate pursuit of excellence is admirable, and DRIVECLUB will be all the better for it.”
Previously, Paul Rustchynsky had confirmed to us that there won’t be any forced microtransactions in DriveClub.
