Dying Light Enhanced Edition’s Latest Update (1.05) Adds Free DLC Content, Details Inside

Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition’s developer Techland had promised new content update for the game recently despite the fact that the game has been out for a while now. The first set of the free content DLC is out now for the PS4, Xbox One and PC and it is a rather hefty download weighing in over 2.4 GB.

The DLC content contains the following items for the players that have been installed as part of update 1.05 for the game.

  • Content Drop #0
  • 4 new human enemies
  • New zombie eemy
  • New weapon
  • New player outfit
  • Content Drop #1
  • 3 new weapons
  • New player outfits
  • New buggy paintjobs
  • Tribute to John Romero
  • Minor tweaks and fixes

Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition was released on February 6th, 2016 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. The new version of the game offered the first major DLC expansion while improving on the base game featuring all of the post-launch updates for it in one package.

Dying Light has proven to be smash hit for the developer Techland who appears to be fully committed to supporting it even after launch. They haven’t revealed any potential sequel news yet but considering the release of The Following DLC and the free post-launch content pack, it can be possible that they have plans for a sequel in the works.
