Dying light is a zombie apocalypse game set in the slums and cities of South America. To survive, players will have to scavenge the city and find supplies and items that can be used to craft weapons. The game features dynamic day and night cycles which is an important part of the game because if you are out looking for items and supplies at night, you’re as good as dead.
In a press release, Techland the developers of Dying Light have confirmed that they will be releasing their open world, zombies survival game in February, 2015. Techland also said that they are “committed to innovation and wanted to give players the freedom of movement unprecedented in open world games.”
They delayed the game because they were not satisfied with the game and thought that they need more time to improve the game and take it to the level as they intended. They assured fans that this delay will help them get the game to the intended level and will give them the chance to add an innovative open world game that will be without any “compromises or trade-offs on any of the five platforms they are working on.”
Techland will be sharing more information about their highly anticipated game at E3 this year so we still have something to look forward too. Dying Light comes out in February 2015 for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
