Zenimax Online has revealed more details about the PS4 and Xbox One version of The Elder Scrolls Online on their official website. They have also announced that a closed public beta will start tomorrow on the PS4 and Xbox One.
To participate in this closed public beta, you need have an invite to it. If you registered for the closed beta, you might get an invite to join it. Bethesda has revealed that not everyone is guaranteed to get an invite.
This closed public beta is scheduled to run from April 23rd to April 27th. Zenimax Online will start sending invites to those who have registered for the beta starting today.
In addition to details about the closed public beta, Zenimax Online has revealed that the game will get a 15 GB day 1 patch on the PS4 and Xbox One.
“With the console beta just around the corner, we’re sure everyone is interested to know the size of the game client in order to get your hard drives ready,” explains the blog post. “ESOTU is an incredibly massive game, both in terms of sheer scope and the data required to bring you this truly enormous experience. At the moment, the client will exceed a 50GB Blu-ray disc which means there will also be a large day-one patch that is somewhere in the region of 15GB.”
The Elder Scrolls Online will be released on the PS4 and Xbox One on June 9th 2015.
