Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition Now Showing As Xbox One X Enhanced

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was recently updated on the official Xbox One X support page as ‘coming soon’ along with Fallout 4. Today, the game is reportedly showing up in the Xbox One X Enhanced section hinting that it is getting an update soon. Any game that ends up being listed as Xbox One X Enhanced usually gets a patch which implements the support for the Xbox One X hardware.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was released as HD Remaster for the PS4 and Xbox One last year. The game was also patched to support the PS4 Pro at launch and featured a dynamic 4K resolution for it. The same enhanced features will be a part of the Xbox One X. Aside from that, the game also supports mods on consoles just like it does on PC.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim remains one of the most popular WRPG. It was originally developed and released for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. The game has sold the most on PC and has a cumulative sales of more than 20 million copies so far. It was recently released for the Nintendo Switch and a Virtual Reality version of the game was also released as an exclusive to the PlayStation VR.
