The Evil Within 2 Patch 1.02 Adds Support For PS4 Pro and Xbox One X

The Evil Within 2 has finally received support for the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X with the release of the latest update. This update patches the game to version 1.02 and among other changes, it also implements support for both the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X.

The Evil Within 2 launched without any PS4 Pro support which disappointed those fans who were hoping for an enhanced experience on the PS4 Pro. The latest update seems to have implemented support for the promised Xbox One X in addition to the PS4 Pro.

The update implements the option to play the game at a higher resolution or with an unlocked frame rate on either the PS4 Pro or Xbox One X.

The Evil Within 2 was developed by Tango Gameworks. It is a new studio founded by Shinji Mikami who also directed the original The Evil Within but appears to have taken the role of a producer for the sequel. The game was directed by John Jonas and it appears to improve upon many of the flaws that the original The Evil Within faced on its launch.

The Evil Within 2 is available now for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game was developed by Tango Gameworks and published by Bethesda Softworks.
