Fallout 4 Automatron: The Mechanist Armor can be upgraded with the Ballistic Weave

Fallout 4 Automatron came out today and so far I’m having a lot fun with it. In this first DLC for Fallout 4 you’ll come across a lot of new weapons, equipment and other items which’ll make your journey across the Wasteland much more interesting. One of these items is the Mechanist Armor, returning from its previous appearance in Fallout 3.

The Mechanist Armor is worn by the Mechanist and can be obtained while playing the DLC.  Click here if you’ve purchased the DLC and don’t know how to access it, its kind of tricky.

The Armor has some really good stats with 72 Damage and Energy Weapon Resistance. It also reduces 15% damage from robots which comes in real handy since you’ll be fighting a lot of them in the DLC. The Helmet which comes along with the Armor gives a further 13 damage and energy resistance, while also giving a +1 Charisma and Intelligence. Overall its a pretty great package.

What makes the Mechanist Armor from Fallout 4 Automatron even better is that it can be upgraded using the Ballistic Weave. The Ballistic Weave is gained by doing some quests for the Railroad. The Weave enables you to upgrade the Armor’s stats even further. The fully upgraded Mechanist Armor gives players 182 Damage and Energy Resistance, essentially making you a walking tank.

Fallout 4 Automatron is out now and available for download on the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
