Fallout 4: You Can Use “Infinite Companion Inventory Weight” Glitch From Skyrim

Fallout 4 is the first game from Bethesda Softworks after the critically and commercially successful The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim. It seems to be developed on the same engine and as such, it manages to have some similar exploits as discovered in the past Bethesda Softworks game.

One of these exploits is the “Infinite Companion Inventory Weight” glitch that allows the players to hoard as many items as possible without having to return to their base. Basically once you are over the weight limit, you can drop a few items from your inventory and then issue your companions a command to pick them up. The companions will be able to pick it up regardless whether they carry max weight or not.

The other trick for carrying as much items as possible is to break down the so called Junk Items that you collect throughout the game. This will help in reducing their weight allowing you to carry more of them without having to resort to return trips. You can also transfer your Junk Items to the work bench and they will automatically break down there.

Fallout 4 is out now for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. It was developed by Bethesda Softworks and utilizes their Creation Engine.
