Fallout 4 PC Specs And File Size Revealed


While we all are waiting for the most anticipated game of the holiday season, Fallout 4, the developer Bethesda announced the specifications and requirements of the game for PC this Thursday. Those who don’t meet the requirements will need to upgrade their system to get a stable experience in Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic open world RPG.

The PC Requirements for Fallout 4 are as follow:


  • Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required)
  • Intel Core i5-2300 2.8 GHz/AMD Phenom II X4 945 3.0 GHz or equivalent
  • 8 GB RAM
  • 30 GB free HDD space
  • NVIDIA GTX 550 Ti 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or equivalent


  • Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required)
  • Intel Core i7 4790 3.6 GHz/AMD FX-9590 4.7 GHz or equivalent
  • 8 GB RAM
  • 30 GB free HDD space
  • NVIDIA GTX 780 3GB/AMD Radeon R9 290X 4GB or equivalent


According to the aforementioned system requirements, Fallout 4 will occupy between 28-35GB hard-drive space. An Intel Core i7-4790 or an AMD FX-9590 should be powerful enough to run the game with smooth performance. Meanwhile, for graphics quality, Nvidia GTX 780 or AMD Radeon R9 290X would be the best option.

While the UK version of Fallout 4 will only support English voice/text, the versions released in the rest of Europe will include support for English, French, Italian, German and Spanish languages. The game’s release schedule for individual regions can be seen below.

The most anticipated RPG of the season, Fallout 4, will be available for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 starting from November 10th, 2015.
