Far Cry 5 Teasers Show New Location ‘Hope County’, Worldwide Reveal Set For May 26th

Ubisoft has released a set of brand new teaser trailers for the upcoming Far Cry 5. These teasers are pretty short and just shows a new location called Hope County. The footage shown is presumably filmed with real-life actors and teases the location by showing a dead corpse floating in the river, a running person getting killed, church and gun being shot in a jungle.

Far Cry 5 was already leaked a while ago and more information about the game was supposedly leaked by a reddit user recently. The teaser trailers confirm the location of the game is Hope County in Montana so this does clear out some of the rumors about the game. You can watch these four teasers below.

The worldwide reveal of the game is now set for May 26th so it will be interesting to see how much of the rumors were true. The game is set to launch this fiscal year for Ubisoft along with Assassin’s Creed an judging from the teaser trailer, it might come with some PlayStation Exclusive marketing and content.

Far Cry 5 is currently confirmed for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One and is set to launch in Fiscal Year 2018 for Ubisoft.
