FIFA 17 is getting an official demo today on almost all the major platforms. This demo will be the first time players will get to try the new game on their consoles. Since FIFA 17 is being developed on the frostbite engine, which makes it the first game in the series to utilize this engine, expect to see some noticeable changes especially for the graphics.
While the demo for FIFA 17 has been confirmed to be released today, it is currently only available for the Xbox 360. Those who own a PS4 or Xbox One will have to wait for a while as the official Twitter account has confirmed that the demo will go live today for all the platforms. It might have been released early for the Xbox 360.
FIFA 17 is using the flagship Frostbite engine from EA DICE, which renders photorealistic graphics. This provides the game a boost in visuals compared to its predecessors. There are also some major changes to the all star character ratings.
The ratings that will be available in the demo are not finalized. It is reportedly an older build of game so expect to see improvements for the final retail version of the game.
FIFA 17 will be released for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. It is being developed and published by EA Sports.
