Final Fantasy Type-0 HD releases on PC August 18 with massive improvements

The previously announced PC version of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD now has a release date and will release next month on August 18. The PC version is based on the PS4 remaster of the game and will feature various improvements.

Major changes featured in the PC version include the following:

  • Improved in-game battle camera
  • Scalable motion blur settings
  • Customizable dynamic screen shot mode
  • Upgraded graphics resolution options for high-end PCs
  • Increased blood levels
  • New character speed boosts
  • Full controller support
  • Full Steam achievements and trading cards

Fixing the motion blur will be the first thing I do when I get the game on PC, the PS4 version blurred so much when moving that it gave me headaches! PC gamers will also receive bonuses in DOTA 2 if they pre-order the game on Steam including Master Chocobo as a courier and Class Zero’s Moogle as a ward.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD on PC will be a huge improvement over the PSP version that was previously Japan only, in fact they look like different games. I just wish Square Enix would give similar treatment to Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7, also released on the PSP.
