Final Fantasy VII Remake Official Website Is Live, Confirms “Full Remake;” 11 Million Copies Sold WW

Square Enix has opened the official website for Final Fantasy VII Remake. The website lists some of the basic info about the game including the announcement of the original game’s sale, which has sold more than 11 million copies across retail and digital.

Final Fantasy VII: Remake was officially revealed at E3 2015 and it was confirmed that it is being directed by Tetsuya Nomura, the creator of Kingdom Hearts and the main guy behind Final Fantasy Versus XIII (Now Final Fantasy XV). The following staff was confirmed for the project.

Producer: Yoshinori Kitase

Scenario: Kazushige Nojima

Final Fantasy VII was originally released for the PlayStation 1 in 1997 and as revealed on the official website, it has sold more than 11 million copies across retail and digital. More info about the remake will be revealed in Winter 2015.
