Final Fantasy VII Remake Is Real, Confirmed At Sony E3; Directed By Nomura [Update]

As the rumors earlier stated, Final Fantasy VII Remake is indeed confirmed to be real and it is headed for the PlayStation 4. Square Enix revealed the game on stage at E3 2015.

The game was revealed with a CGI trailer from Visual Works. It is directed by Tetsuya Nomura, and produced by Yoshinori Kitase.

Update: Check out the reveal trailer of the game below. As confirmed earlier, the game is headed first to PlayStation 4 and later to other platforms.

Final Fantasy VII Remake has been a long time demand of the fans ever since Square Enix showed a technology demo of the game for Sony’s PlayStation 3. A PC port of Final Fantasy VII was announced at PlayStation Experience event last year but it hasn’t been released yet. Now that a remake is confirmed to be in development, perhaps we might hear about its release date after E3.
