Final Fantasy XV Development Team Thanks Fans In New Video

Final Fantasy XV finally has a release date and since the development team is on a tight schedule, it is interesting to get a new video from them in which they thanks the fans for their participation in a recent campaign based on the popular Chocobo.

Final Fantasy XV release date was revealed in a major event at the end of March. The game was confirmed for September 30th release along with a brand new Anime and CGI Movie. You can check out a video from the developers of Final Fantasy XV below.

Final Fantasy XV was originally revealed as Versus XIII back in 2006. The game went into hibernation shortly after reveal and didn’t went into full production until later in 2010. It was rebooted entirely for the new generation of consoles in 2012 and the original game director left the project in late 2013. Hajime Tabata was the new director who also acted as the co-director after the reboot and since then, he has managed to keep the development steady and the game is finally getting a release this year.

Final Fantasy XV is being developed by Business Division 2 headed by the game director Hajime Tabata. It is using the in-house engine by Square Enix called Luminous Engine offering rich visuals and open world gameplay.
