Final Fantasy XV To Get Digital Premium Edition, Season Pass Confirmed

Final Fantasy XV will have its own Season Pass as revealed through a PlayStation Store listing of the game. This listing also confirms the Digital Premium Edition that contains the Season Pass along with the full game.

Final Fantasy XV is currently set for a release on September 30th for the PS4 and Xbox One. The game has been in developement since its reveal at E3 2013 and will finally get released this year.

Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata had earlier stated that they have plans to release DLC for the game, although he didn’t share any information on the type of DLC that can be expected from the game.

You can check out the PlayStation Store listing for the premium edition of the game. The price is listed at $84.99 so the Season Pass is likely going to be $24.99.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 was the first game with DLC released post-launch. This DLC usually focused on Boss Battles in a Colosseum. There was also a story expansion released for the main character Lightning. Maybe we can get a new car, weapons and story expansion as DLC for Final Fantasy XV as well.

Final Fantasy XV is currently confirmed for the PS4 and Xbox One and set for a release on September 30th. It is being developed and published by Square Enix.

    Final Fantasy XV has been in development for over a decade now. It was first revealed in 2006 as Final Fantasy Versus XIII.
    I don’t know how I really feel about the season pass… It seems like this one is more of a cash grab than others due to its extremely long development.
