Final Fantasy XV Release Date Confirmed, Collector And Deluxe Edition Detailed

Square Enix has finally lifted the curtain on the release date of Final Fantasy XV. As revealed earlier by GameSpot, the game will launch on September 30th for the PS4 and Xbox One. This will be a simultaneous launch worldwide including Japan, North America and Europe.

You can watch two brand new story trailers below which were showcased at the Uncovered Final Fantasy XV event.

In addition to confirming the release date, Square Enix has also revealed the Day One Edition, Collector’s Edition and Deluxe Edition of the game (via Gematsu).

Final Fantasy XV Day 1 Edition will cost $59.99 and features the following content.

  • A copy of the game
  • Bonus content: “Masamune” weapon
  • Xbox Store Pre-order Incentives: Two Xbox One Avatars including Noctis Special Outfit and Carbuncle pet
  • PlayStation Store Pre-order Incentives: Dynamic PS4™ theme for PlayStation®4 players

Final Fantasy XV Deluxe Edition will cost $89.99 and features the following content.

  • A copy of the game
  • Exclusive SteelBook featuring artwork by Yoshitaka Amano
  • Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV on Blu-ray
  • Bonus content: “Royal Raiment” outfit, “Masamune” weapon, and “Platinum Leviathan” car recolor

Final Fantasy XV Ultimate Collector’s Edition will cost $269.99 and features the following content.
