Final Fantasy XV Update 1.07 Goes Live On PS4 And Xbox One, Changelog Revealed

Square Enix has finally released the long awaited March Update for Final Fantasy XV and as promised, this update adds new cutscenes, playable Gladiolus section in Chapter 13, new playable area in the open world and more to the game.

The size of this update is less than 6 GB and it is currently live on the PS4, and should go live on the Xbox One later today. As for the changelog, you can check it out below including a new video that details the changes being added in this new update.

  • Various bug fixes

Version 1.06

  • Addition of Chapter 13, Verse 2 (alternate route featuring Gladiolus)
  • Enhancement of Arcana spells (Alterna, Holy, Death)
  • Announcement of winning snapshots from first photo contest (viewable at Takka’s Pit Stop in Hammerhead)
  • Temporary conclusion of Timed Quests (will resume at a later date)
  • Addition of two pieces from Episode Gladiolus to music player tracklist
  • Addition of compatibility with Episode Gladiolus
  • Various gameplay enhancements
  • Various bug fixes
  • Updated saves will not work on former versions of the game

According some early reports from reddit, this new section in Chapter 13 can be accessed directly from the main menu. It should appear there under the ‘Special’ section if you have completed the main game.

Final Fantasy XV is available now for the PS4 and Xbox One.
